I’m Shamika Lilavois, a Reading & Dyslexia Interventionist dedicated to helping struggling readers become confident, capable learners.
As a certified Special Education teacher with extensive experience supporting students with dyslexia and other language-based learning differences, I’ve seen how many bright children struggle simply because they have not been taught in a way that matches how they learn.
Using the structured literacy and the Orton-Gillingham approach, I provide systematic, evidence-based reading intervention designed to build strong decoding, spelling, and language skills. My goal is to help every child develop the foundation needed to become a confident, independent reader.

Our mission is to support students with dyslexia and other reading challenges through evidence-based structured literacy instruction. Using the science of reading and the Orton-Gillingham approach, we provide individualized intervention that helps children build the skills needed for confident, independent reading.
